How Can I Join the GWCSA?
We’re starting early this year! That’s right – in order to help the farm put money in the bank, we are starting sign-ups for RETURNING MEMBERS ONLY at the last 4 distributions of the year. Click here for details.
Sign ups for new members for 2010 will begin in January.
Starting in the middle of winter, the GWCSA opens up membership for the upcoming growing season, and sometime after the New Year’s holidays the core group starts hosting sign up/info events at different locations around the neighborhood. During the winter, the farmers have calculated their next crop size, factoring in growth possibilities, giving each of their CSA’s a weekly number for the various share types. (Vegetable/Fruit/Flower/Egg). We start selling in January and keep selling until May 1st. Shares start to sell out in March. Returning members who pay in full by the end of March get an "Early Bird" discount.
2010 sign ups for RETURNING MEMBERS have begun. Sign up for new members will begin in January. Check Sign Up/Info Events for dates - we will add dates as they are solidified. Use the form to the right to get on our mailing list.
